Josh - The Carpenter (RSE)
In 2010, I discovered my love for carpentry while volunteering for a Bible Camp lodge project; I landed my first laborer job shortly after. It wasn't long before I was helping friends with projects and acquiring side-jobs around the city. My official apprenticeship began in 2013, and I completed the 4 year program in just 3 years (with honors). After finishing my schooling, it was clear that learning an additional trade and developing my skill set was the wisest choice for me and my family.
Josh - The Electrician (RSE)
I started 2016 in a second trade. For the next 7ish years I worked for a commercial company and completed my electrical apprenticeship. I quickly moved through the ranks from a starter role to project coordinator. I had opportunities to refine my electrical skills, run small job sites, and lead teams of electricians. While in the office I was in charge of coordinating various trades, assisting with project management, creating prints, making orders, and more. I did miss working with my hands, though; I knew I wasn't using my full carpenter and electrician skill-set in my office role. So, starting my own company seemed to be the best way forward. And we haven't looked back!
